Hasbro offered collectors a new X-Wing Fighter for their A New Hope Death Star battle diorama in July of 2013 with the Toys "R" Us exclusive Red 3 X-Wing Fighter. While The Vintage Collection packaging simply stated it as 'X-Wing Fighter', we all recognized it instantly as the vehicle used by Luke's childhood friend Biggs Darklighter in the epic mission where he paid the ultimate price in the Rebellion's efforts to free the galaxy from the tyranny of Darth Sidious. At the time of its release, Hasbro made a brand new Biggs figure available through the first wave of figures in their Black Series collection.
